OB Playhouse & Theatre Company announces PARTIAL CASTING AUDITIONS for: Avenue Q

AUDITIONS are by appointment only.
*Due to adult themes and adult language, we are only casting actors who are age 18 and above.
Email [email protected] to arrange an audition time. Please include your head shot and resume and please put “AQ 2017 Audition” in the subject line.

Audition dates:
Saturday, May 6th at 1:00 p.m.
Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held Sunday May 7th at 5:00 p.m.
Please prepare a 1 minute song from a contemporary musical theater show produced after 2000. Please bring sheet music in the proper key and cut the way you want it played. You can also bring an MP3 . No A Capella singing, please.

In addition, please bring your personal calendar to auditions to note any possible conflicts during Avenue Q's rehearsal period which begins on June 5th, 2017.

Performances run 7/7 – 9/17 (Double casting is available so if you are not able to commit to the entire run, please specify dates available in your email)
Thursdays-Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Yes, that Gary Coleman. Lives on the Avenue and is superintendent of the apartment buildings. Human
Female or Male, 30-40 yrs old
Range: D3 - Bb5

NICKY (All dates available)
A slacker who lives with Rod. Puppet. (All dates available)
Male, 25-30 yrs old
Range: B2 - B4

ROD (All dates available)
An investment banker who is Republican and a closeted homosexual. Puppet.
Male, 25-35 yrs old

TREKKIE MONSTER
A reclusive creature obsessed with the Internet and all it has to offer. Puppet.
Male, 30-45 yrs old
Range: Bb2 - Eb4
