Please include what role(s) you are interested in and willing to accept.
All audition candidates will be required to have completed vaccinations.
Additionally, masks must be worn at auditions and callbacks except when on the stage.
Performances: are at OB Playhouse
Various start dates for different roles, but all should be available for September and October. The one exception is the role of Columbia which would need to start August 26th
Performances are Thursday-Saturday evenings at 8p.m.
**There is one industry night on Monday, September 13 @ 8 p.m.
Rehearsals will be held at the theatre beginning August 16, Sunday- Wednesday evenings, 6:30 – 10:00 p.m. Please let us know if advance if you have any conflicts with those dates.

Synopsis of Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show": An outrageous musical comedy featuring a Transylvanian transvestite, a cryogenically preserved zombie motorbiker and Frankenstein’s monster in Greek god form. This sexual parody of horror and science fiction films premiered onstage in London in 1973, becoming the popular cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975.
Please be advised, this play deals with overt sexuality and costuming will reflect that. Everyone who auditions needs to be comfortable with this.
** We are specifically seeking BIPOC for all available roles. However, all ethnicities are encouraged.**
All genders and gender expressions are welcome and encouraged.
This show will be a remount of our production in 2018. We are looking to double most roles. Not all roles are available. The following lists the roles that are available:
Brad: Tenor (written top G/Ab) Audition with either a pop song or a pop/rock musical song. Must be comfortable performing in underwear.
Janet: Soprano (Top F) Comfortable with some light belting but can also sound classical in head voice. Must be comfortable performing in underwear.
Riff Raff: Tenor (written top G/Ab) REALLY A true rock screamer. Not your average handyman.
Magenta: Mezzo (Top C/D) Rock belter. For these roles any good belting pop/rock song would work Maid type on the kinky side. Riff Raffs sister. May be doubled as Usherette.
Columbia: Mezzo (Top C/D) Rock belter. Must be a strong tap dancer. A Groupie. Must be comfortable performing in underwear. May be doubled as Usherette.
Rocky: Tenor. Muscular physique. Comfortable with little clothing and a moment of partial nudity (backside. Open for discussion).
Phantom : Backup singer. Will sing and dance a lot.
